Mr. Broadway joined Aspen in 2014 as the Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Broadway’s duties include overseeing Aspen’s daily operations as well as overseeing its compliance efforts and financial operations. Mr. Broadway received his Bachelor of Science degree, with an emphasis in Accounting, from the University of Virginia, a M.B.A., with an emphasis in Finance, from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and is a Certified Public Accountant.  As well, he is Series 3 licensed.

 

From 1991 through 1995, Mr. Broadway worked in the assurance practice at the public accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand, LLC, as a member of the Financial Services Team. From 1995 through early 2014 Mr. Broadway was employed by Chesapeake Capital Corporation, an industry leading CTA, was a Principal and held various senior leadership positions, most recently as its’ Chief Operating Officer.  He is involved in a number of industry advocacy groups and often lecturers on alternative investments at the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business.

 

Mr. Broadway, and his wife, Janet, live in Manakin-Sabot, just outside of Richmond. Both he and his wife are involved at Hope Church and in his spare time Mr. Broadway serves on the Board of several community organizations and is deeply involved in a city-wide leadership development institute.  He also enjoys hunting waterfowl, cycling, and international travel.
