Carolyn is a senior investment director advising on private investments in Cambridge Associates’ Arlington office.  As a member of the firm’s nonprofit practice, she advises clients on private portfolio construction and manager selection. Her clients range in size from $189 million to over $2 billion. 

 

 

Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Carolyn was a director of private equity and head of structuring and analytics at Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the US government’s development finance institution.  In this role, she sourced, selected, and monitored private equity fund investments for an active $2 billion+ emerging markets fund of funds portfolio.  Prior to that, she was a managing director at Westbury Group LLC, where she established their mid-Atlantic investment banking presence.  Carolyn was also a principle at The Colonnade Group, where she advised international and domestic SMEs on M&A, restructuring, corporate finance and business development.  She started her career with Citibank as a fixed income emerging markets specialist and was an emerging markets bond trader/strategist with Deutsche Bank.
