Joseph Weiler is a Partner at FullCycle, a private equity firm dedicated to reversing the effects of climate change by accelerating the deployment of climate-restoring technologies. He co-chairs the company’s investment committee and oversees all aspects of firm’s investment process from sourcing through divestment.
Mr. Weiler is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Cannonade Capital, a boutique growth equity firm based in New York City. He is responsible for sourcing, diligence, execution, and management of Cannonade’s investment portfolio.
Mr. Weiler was previously a Co-Founder and Partner at FreeRise Capital, a private investment firm with ties to a large family office in the Midwest. Mr. Weiler shared responsibility for the management of FreeRise’s investment portfolio and continues to serve as a board advisor to select companies affiliated with FreeRise. Prior to co-founding FreeRise, Mr. Weiler was a Research Analyst at Point72 Asset Management, formerly known as S.A.C. Capital Advisors. While at Point72, Mr. Weiler was responsible for making public equity investments in the Industrials sector, primarily in Autos and Aerospace & Defense companies. Prior to his time at Point72, Mr. Weiler worked as an Associate at MidOcean Partners, a middle market private equity firm with over $3.5 billion in committed capital, where he focused on investments in the Industrials and Business Services sectors and served on the board of directors for select portfolio companies. Prior to joining MidOcean, Mr. Weiler worked as an investment banker in the Financial Sponsors Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he focused on advisory and execution for private equity related transactions across a variety of industries.
Mr. Weiler is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a B.S.E. with a concentration in Finance.
