Mehmet I. Budak is Founding Principal and Chief Investment Officer of Bessley Capital LLC.

 

Mr. Budak served as Investment Partner with Credit Suisse (Switzerland) advising UHNW Investors, Family Offices and Asset Managers between 2014 and 2017.

Previously, Mr. Budak was a Principal/Managing Director of CoastEdge LLC (Multi-Family Private Investment Office in the U.S. that provides global asset allocation, manager selection and unique alternative investments) and Principal/Deputy CEO of TFO Investments (Multi-Family Private Investment Office in the Middle East with portfolio of private co-investments, fund allocations and hybrid strategies).

During 2007-2010, Mr. Budak was Senior Investment Director and Head of EMEA with Marathon Asset Management where he established the EMEA platform and supervised private equity, real estate and credit activities. During 2003-2007, Mr. Budak was with The Carlyle Group where he focused on principal investments in Financial Services and Emerging Markets. Prior to The Carlyle Group, Mr. Budak was with Goldman Sachs’ Financial Institutions Group where he executed mergers, acquisitions, public offerings and financings.
