​Michael P. Regan has covered markets for Bloomberg as an editor, reporter and columnist since 2007. He was a founding columnist for the Gadfly business commentary section and is a frequent contributor to Bloomberg’s magazines, Television and Radio programs. He's also a regular guest on NPR's "Here & Now" news program and has appeared on The Charlie Rose Show, CBS This Morning, MSNBC, BBC Radio and a variety of other broadcast outlets. Currently, he is the leader of Bloomberg's Markets Live blog, which covers global financial markets from a macro perspective. Before Bloomberg, he was a business writer and editor with the Associated Press for several years. He got his start in journalism at newspapers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey after graduating from the University of Delaware.
