Sheila is an Audit Partner in EY’s Financial Services assurance practice with over 15 years of audit experience serving global public registrants, primary focused in the private equity industry as well as their direct portfolio company investments.  Sheila has also worked with a variety of companies, both mature public companies and high-growth companies, across diversified industrial manufacturing, biotech, retail and financial services sectors.    

 

Sheila has extensive experience with financial statement audits and SEC reporting, audits of internal controls, initial public offerings, secondary equity offerings, and public debt refinancing. She has deep experience with US GAAP technical accounting matters, including fair value measurements, revenue recognition, business combinations and divestures, consolidation accounting, legal contingencies and Investment Company accounting.

 

Sheila has experience leading global audit coordination for large public registrants, including time spent in Australia, China, Germany, France, Sweden, Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, Amsterdam and London.  Audit clients served include The Carlyle Group, Hamilton Lane Inc., Arlington Capital Management, Harren Equity, AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, and Federated Investors, Inc.

 

Sheila received a Masters of Business Administration degree with distinction from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS in Accounting from St. Vincent College.  She is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania.
